New Impossibilities was ranked #2 in the Echoes Listeners’ Poll list of top 25 albums for 2007.

The Silk Road Project proudly announces the release of New Impossibilities, the latest CD from the Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma, including special guest, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Miguel Harth-Bedoya.

Recorded live during a series of sold-out concerts in April 2007 at Chicago’s Orchestra Hall, this dynamic collection of both traditional and contemporary music reflects the cultural and artistic collaborations of the yearlong, citywide celebration of Silk Road Chicago that took place from June 2006-June 2007.
