Festivals - Central to mission of the Silk Road Project are Partner City Festivals featuring performances by Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble, programmed in collaboration with presenting organizations at venues around the world.

Part of the philosophy of the Silk Road Project is the belief that event-based interactions are essential for creating connections between people of diverse backgrounds. To that end, the Silk Road Project and the Partner Cities have planned a plethora of activities for artists and audiences.
